The scheduled maintenance of Version & Component Sync for Jira Cloud has completed successfully.
We have monitored 3 cycles of synchronisations and neither log file analysis or application performance monitoring tooling show any adverse events as a result of the infrastructure changes.

Verifying
Deployment succeeded successfully, all infrastructure changes have been completed. We have experienced a brief downtime of 10 minutes starting around Oct 28, 2023, 8:30 PM (CEST) but all systems are now up.
Version & component synchronisation has resumed. We are now monitoring normal system operations for the next hours to ensure the synchronisation cycles for all customers are completed successfully.
If no issues arise we expect to close the maintenance at Oct 28, 2023, 23:00 PM (CEST)

This is an announcement of planned maintenance to the Version & Component Sync for Jira Cloud app.
In order to be able to continue smooth operations for our growing customer base we will be migrating crucial parts of the app infrastructure.
The maintenance window for this update is Saturday 26 October 18.00 UTC until Sunday 27 October 18.00 UTC.
During this time changes to versions / components will not be propagated and you may experience intermittent downtime when accessing any of the app pages in Jira Cloud.
It is recommended not to make any changes to the Version & Component Sync configuration during the maintenance window. Prior to the start of the maintenance a back-up will be created of all data. If necessary, a rollback will be performed and all data will be restored to the point-in-time snapshot of Saturday 26 October 18.00 UTC.
As soon as the update as completed, synchronisation will resume and any changes to versions / components will be retroactively applied.
